Mags for my 2001 Mitsubishi Mirage.?

I'm looking at buying over the internet but I'm not sure how to tell if they will fit my car.
This is the information i have about the mags. Starcorp alloy wheels, they are multi fit four studs, size 17x7, they come with all nuts & caps & are in as new condition, they are fitted with 4 near new Nankang 235/45/r17 ultra sports tyres

I'm an Aussie too and it sounds like you're buying them from a distributor of Tempe Tyres???

If you're in Sydney, go to Tempe Tyres at Tempe (near the Airport) and talk to John - he's The Manager They're a good bunch of guys and they won't b/s you.....plus, fitting and balancing is FREE.

Suggestion.....go during the week as weekends there are almost impossible to move and the wait is a long one.

I drive a Mustang 5ltr Supercharged 302V8 GTHO (standard tyres are 17's) - my new tyres are 245/40/18 front and 295/35/18 rear.

That being said - I'm not familiar with tyre sizes on a Mirage, but if your original tyres are 16 inch, the ones you plan to buy should be ok. If your original tyre size is 15 inch, you may have to go to a lower profile: say 235/35/17 to get the same "rolling distance" as your original tyres.

Finally - one word of caution - research your car's specs and make sure the new wheels won't stick out beyond the guards. Most in-expensive wheels don't have off set centres and you could be spending money on something you can't use. I wouldn't be paying $1,200 to $1,500 (guess) without making sure of what I'm buying. Also, look at Kumho tyres - they're a much better tyre than Nankang.
