How do I get them to have sound sleep?
I have two kids, a four year old girl and a 2 year old boy. Neither one of them sleeps through the night. They both sleep walk and sleep talk. They also have screaming fits. They have each even tried to open the front door in the middle of the night. To say the least it s exhausting! If one's not up the other is. I am a step- mom and have only been living with them for about 7 months. Could it be do to their poor diets? I try to get them to eat healthy, but it's impossible! They would rather starve than eat something other than cereal and chicken nuggets! Literally all they eat! Please help I am getting desperate!
I agree with the answer above me...They will eventually eat healthier foods, just keep trying. Maybe try to involve them in the prep of the food. Buy some basic, inexpensive cookie cutters and let them cut shapes into slices of cheese and wholewheat sandwiches. Another good one is homemade pizza bagels....wholewheat or low fat/low sugar bagels, pizza or pasta sauce and cheese and veggies , lay everything out on a low well covered surface and let them create there own and then pop them in the oven or even toaster oven and serve their masterpieces!!! Maybe that will get them to eat healthier and wear them out some by being more active/involved. Good luck and enjoy!
