What is a good alarm clock for someone who sleeps through the alarm?
I have a tendency to sleep through the alarm when it goes off and I think I have turned it off in my sleep before. My dad turns his off in his sleep too, so I think I inherited that or something. Usually I wake up with a new alarm clock at first, but then get sensitized to that particular sound and sleep through it after about 3 weeks. So does anyone make an alarm that changes sounds every so often?
Note: please don't put stupid answers or advertisements on here.
I also used to have this problem when I was younger. If you place your alarm clock across the room you have to get out of bed to turn it off. It works for me.
If that doesn't work, you can try the clocky. It was invented by a college student who had a similar problem. It runs away if you hit the snooze and the alarm changes.
